    Grantchester

    Grantchester is an old village, listed in the Domesday Book, and is believed to have been the site of a Roman fort (Granta is the Saxon name for the river Cam). It was later home to the famous English poet Rupert Brooke.

    Road: M11 - Exit the M11 at junction 12 (Sandy), and then at the larger roundabout (towards Cambridge) take the road towards Grantchester. When you reach the end of the road, turn right and this leads to the High Street. +
